Content
Let's be part of the solution. At the GAF, sustainability will be presented from a fresh perspective — one that highlights how meetings and events can be part of the solution. We want to go beyond the concept but a commitment to tangible action because when it comes to climate change, there are two critical angles to consider: proactive and reactive responses.
-
Proactive Approach: This is about planning ahead, reducing our environmental impact before it's too late. As organizers, we can choose venues that are environmentally certified, offer sustainable catering options, and encourage delegates to travel via low-emission options like trains or electric vehicles. Which technology, methodologies or ways of working could we implement?
-
Reactive Approach: Climate change isn't just a future concern; it’s something we’re already grappling with. In the event of a climate catastrophe or extreme weather, how do you manage your event? In such scenarios, having a flexible, prepared strategy is key. Which technology, methodologies or ways of working could we implement?
Topic Suggestions
